UNM Events

In addition to educating over 16,000 undergraduates a year, UNM is one of Albuquerque’s major cultural centers. The on-campus theater features Broadway and Off-Broadway shows throughout the year, as well as other musical and theatrical events, including ballets and the New Mexico Philharmonic. On-campus museums include the UNM Art Museum, which houses the largest fine art collection in the state.

Perhaps most exciting, however, are the on-campus sporting events. Known as the Lobos, UNM’s Division 1 sports teams include football, soccer, tennis, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and more. Tickets are available for all home games, while you can attend regular season cross country, golf, swimming and diving, and tennis for no charge. Make sure to mark your calendar for the popular NCAA New Mexico Bowl, played annually in December at UNM’s University Stadium.
